Hilton Head Island’s highly anticipated parade will once again return to Pope Avenue, and this year, the festivities span over two days. The 37th Annual Hilton Head Ireland Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Weekend will take place on March 12th and 13th. A sign that the spring season is about to arrive, locals and visitors alike will join in on the fun wearing their most festive green attire at all three of the scheduled events.
The 2nd Annual Hilton Head Ireland Boat Parade will take place the morning of Saturday, March 12th on Broad Creek. An instant hit, many participants and attendees insisted that the 2021 parade become an annual event. We can’t wait!
The Inaugural Irish Concert festivities will begin at 4:00pm at the Lowcountry Celebration Park on March 12th. The main concert will be free to attend, and feature traditional Irish music as well as Irish rock. The Fenian Sons, the Boston Police Gaelic Column of Pipes and Drums, as well as the NYPD Emerald Society Pipes and Drums will all take the stage. There will also be a chance to enjoy more live, Irish music after the concert at Reilley’s Grill & Bar.
The main event, Hilton Head Ireland St. Patrick’s Day Parade, will take place on March 13th beginning at 3:00pm. The parade will step off from the Beach Parking Lot onto Pope Avenue across from Lagoon Road, make a left onto Office Park Road, and end at Park Plaza. Make sure to arrive early to get a good spot along the route!
