What to Expect in Every Season
Hilton Head Island is known for its beautiful weather year-round.
Its subtropical climate with mild winters and hot summers draws visitors looking for an ideal vacation destination.
During the summer, temperatures typically range from the low 80s to the high 90s, with high humidity levels. During the winter months, average temperatures are cooler, but cold snaps are rare and short-lived.
Rain showers are common, but don’t be discouraged by a rainy forecast. Quick showers may move in and out throughout the day, but will rarely wash out an entire day’s itinerary.
Beachgoers are drawn to the island during the summer months when the average temperature is in the 90’s, while golfers tend to descend on the island during the spring and fall when temperatures are mild.
