This commemorative park is a continual project to restore and create learning experiences about the historic town of Mitchelville, the first self-governed town of formerly enslaved people in the United States. Guided or private tours are available, but the park is designed in a way that visitors can take self guided tours as they explore the exhibits.

Check the calendar for any upcoming programs and events being held at the Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park.
